PONDS
Because of the great interest in ponds in and around DeKalb County the SWCD has put together a pond packet. This packet contains all kinds of information from designing a pond to controlling aquatic weeds and stocking your pond with fish. If you would like a pond packet just stop in our office to pick one up or give a call and we'll be happy to send one to you.
A lot of the information in the pond packet is available from the Department of Natural Resources, Purdue Extension and the USDA Natural Resources Conservation Services' websites. Below are the links we used to gather the information for our packets.
